What was the highlight of Chateau Du Mont Joly
Gourmet Paradise
Biggest surprise of our trip. Only chose it as a practical staging post but wandered into a gourmets paradise. The restaurant has a Michelin star and everything is geared to the perfect culinary experience. Our room was exceptionally large and comfortable, the pool and views delightful and the staff simply couldn't do enough for us.

Absolutely lovely but disappointing dinner service.
Beautiful chateau and grounds. Supremely comfy room. Gorgeous view from our top floor room. The food was tremendous.
The service at dinner was terribly slow. From going downstairs for a drink on the terrace to leaving the dining room was over 3.5 hours… Others arriving after us were seated in the dining room well before us. Food incredible but I’d have eaten anything by the time our main course arrived! A shame as they are obviously passionate about their food.

superb food in good surroudings, would be better with some attention to room
good location, fabulous resturant, lovely artefacts in the lobby, excellent explanation on the food and menu, attentive staff for resturant
room needs updating and more character, shower needs complete overhaul, no fridge or coffee making facilities in room. breakfast was very good but lacking staff attention
